Item Notes:  3M Protective Tapes
3M short term protective tapes adhere and conform to protect product surfaces during production, packaging, shipping and installation. Tack level varies depending on the tape. These tapes remove cleanly once the product is in the hands of the end user.
3M polyurethane protective tapes can permanently protect surfaces against impact and damage, for example wind turbine blades and automotive paintwork.
 Short Term Protective Tapes
2104C Polyethylene Tape
High gloss, smooth finishes. A clear tape with an acrylic adhesive. Very low tack level and 0.05mm total thickness.
2110C Polyethylene Tape
High gloss, smooth finishes. A clear tape with an acrylic adhesive. Low tack level and 0.05mm total thickness.
25M26X Co-extruded Tape
UV resistant for up to 6 months. A black or white tape with an acrylic adhesive. Moderate tack level and 0.07mm total thickness.
3W55X Co-extruded Tape
UV resistant for up to 6 months. A black or white tape with an acrylic adhesive. Moderate tack level and 0.08mm total thickness.
2A25C Co-extruded Tape
General purpose protective tape, greater puncture resistance. A clear tape with an acrylic adhesive. Moderate tack level and 0.05mm total thickness.
3125C Polyethylene Tape
General purpose protective tape, conformable. A clear tape with an acrylic adhesive. Moderate tack level and 0.08mm total thickness.
2E79C Polyethylene Tape
Carpet protection tape. A clear tape with an acrylic adhesive. High tack level and 0.05mm total thickness.

SGH6 Polyurethane Tape
Non removable, durable tape for protection against stone chips and other abrasive particles. A clear tape with an acrylic adhesive. 0.15mm total thickness.
SGH12 Polyurethane Tape
Non removable, durable tape for protection against stone chips and other abrasive particles. A clear tape with an acrylic adhesive. 0.30mm total thickness.
